In the men's final, Koivuniemi defeated Sean Rash of Montgomery, Ill., 237-224, while Dorin-Ballard defeated Sandra Andersson of Sweden, 207-162 for the women's title. The winners took $10,000 each.

The Thai Tenpin Bowling Association, host federation of the 2012 World Youth Championships has released the Bulletin No. 1 for the championships which will be held from June 22-July 3 in Bangkok. Maximum four girls and four boys per country, who must be born between Jan. 1st, 1991 and Dec. 31st, 1998, will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in Singles, Doubles, four-player Teams, All Events and Masters in the 10-day competition.
