Mohr, Beck and Randall presented with 2011 Senior Tour Awards at Etonic Senior U.S. Open

Mohr, of Eagle River, Alaska, may have experienced the most successful year ever in dominating the 2011 PBA Senior Tour schedule winning a record-tying four titles in the 10 PBA Senior Tour events he entered, supported by a stunning 67-30 record in his head-to-head matches (a 69 percent success rate) and an equally impressive qualifying record. In 10 tournaments, Mohr was the leading qualifier twice, No. 2 twice and he qualified lower than seventh only one time.
In addition to his four titles – including his first major championship in the Senior U.S. Open – Mohr finished out of the top four only one time. He was second twice, third twice, fourth and had a 13-place finish in Decatur. Mohr also won the 2011 earnings crown, taking home $56,100. It was Mohr’s second Player of the Year title having also earned the honor in 2009.
With the help of three top-10 finishes, Ricky Beck earned 2011 PBA Senior Rookie of the Year honors. The retired Air Force veteran from Box Elder, S.D., finished sixth in the Senior Dayton Classic, eighth in the Senior Northern California Classic and 10th in the PBA Senior Decatur Open.
Beck, who owns one Senior Regional title, was also the 2010-11 PBA Midwest Region Senior Rookie of the Year. He has won several armed forces titles while in the Air Force and was a member of the All-Air Force bowling team.
Ray Randall of Dearborn, Mich., won the Senior Tour’s Dick Weber Sportsmanship Award. The 68-year-old former Air Force veteran and retired design engineer for Ford Motor Co. has been competing regularly on the Senior Tour since 1996.
