20080911IBPSIAclassLondon.jpg The first class of the four-country European tour of International Bowling Pro Shop and Instructors Association (IBPSIA) "Hands on Training Seminars" (H.O.T.S.), the first-ever H.O.T.S. class held outside the United States, concluded on Thursday at Airport Bowl London Heathrow with excellent initial reviews.

The class of eight pro shop owners/operators from all around the London metro area, was a mixture of experienced ball drillers as well as some fairly new to the business. The courses' curriculum teaches basic fitting and drilling procedures and techniques, as well as more advanced theory on layouts, ball construction and properties and ball motion.

"The more advanced students helped the new ones by showing them the methods they had developed over the years" said IBPSIA master instructor, Art McKee (second from right).

"This helped them to keep up with the pace of the class, and not feel so overwhelmed by the amount of information that was given throughout the week. All in all, I think everyone in the class felt like they gained a lot of valuable information, and will be able to better service their customers".

The next class will be held from September 15-18, 2008 in Made, Netherlands.
