Each player must have reached the age of 15 years on January 1, 2012.

19 men and just three women participated in the Israeli qualifying tournament at Nesher bowling center.

No. 1 qualifier Volpert received two byes and was seeded into the finals, while No. 2 qualifier Omer Nehushtan bypassed the quarterfinals. The three women moved directly to the finals.

The men's quarterfinals and semifinals were contested in best-of-five format. Aviram, seeded third came back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat No. 8 Aviv Alfital in the quarterfinals, 3-2. In the semis, No. 5 Gal Shemer eliminated Nehushtan thanks to a one-pin victory in the deciding fifth game, 216-215, after the No. 2 seed got the "big four" (4-6-7-10 split) on the fill ball.

The finals consisted of three games, with total pins determining the winners. Aviram started with 227 and 220 and closed things out with a huge 258 game to seal the victory in the men's division with 705 pinfall total. Volpert took second place with 658 while Shemer finished third with 612.
