Chris Paul PBA League All-Stars is sold out

The fifth annual Chris Paul PBA League All-Stars at Lucky Strike L.A. Live on Monday, Jan. 7, is sold out, and those who attend the annual fundraiser for the Chris Paul Foundation will have a chance to watch five PBA League owners (Paul, actor/comedian Kevin Hart, former NFL star Terrell Owens, Pittsburgh Steelers star LaMarr Woodley and comedian/podcast star Chris Hardwick) bowl, along with women's boxing champion Laila Ali, daughter of former heavyweight and Olympic champion Muhammad Ali, and other celebrities.
Representing the PBA will be PBA League franchise players Norm Duke, Pete Weber, Bill O'Neill, Jason Belmonte, Mike Fagan, Sean Rash, Chris Barnes and Osku Palermaa.
The Chris Paul celebrity event will air on ESPN on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 3) at 4 p.m. ET, just ahead of the start of the Super Bowl.
Tickets for all PBA Detroit Winter Swing television events at historic Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Mich., are now on sale.
The five ESPN television events will include the debut events in the PBA League, and the title matches for the Carmen Salvino Classic, Mark Roth Classic, Don Carter Classic, and Earl Anthony Players Championship.
All of the ESPN shows will be conducted on Saturday, Jan. 26 and Sunday, Jan. 27. Saturday's schedule includes PBA League Round 2 and the Salvino Classic title match starting at noon ET, PBAL Round 3 and the Roth Classic title match starting at 3:30 p.m. and PBAL Round 4 plus the Carter Classic title match starting at 7 p.m.
Sunday's program will include a live telecast of PBA League Round 1 at noon with PBAL Round 5 and the Anthony Players Championship title match starting at 3:30 p.m.
General admission ticket prices for ESPN tapings can be ordered online through pba.com and range from $10-$40 for a single show and $20-$80 for an all-day pass. Ticket information can also be obtained by contacting Thunderbowl Lanes at (313) 928-4688 or by visiting thunderbowl.org for more details.
Special VIP reserved section high-table seating is also available for both days at the following prices: Saturday - one show, $50 for one seat, $125 for a table with three seats; all day, $100 for one seat, $250 for a table with three seats; Sunday all day - $100 one seat, $250 for a table with three seats. No single-show tickets are offered for Sunday.
Special VIP section floor table seats for Saturday and Sunday are $30 for one show and $60 for an all-day pass.
Tickets for qualifying and match play sessions Jan. 22-25 also will be available on-site. Tickets are $10 for qualifying, $20 for match play and $25 for all-day passes.
Thunderbowl will also conduct pro-ams on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. and Monday at 6 p.m. Pro-am entry fees are $75 for adults, $65 for seniors and $35 for youth with optional an bowling ball upgrade package at additional cost. Admission is $10.
Chris and Lynda Barnes' fourth annual "STRIKEoutDiabetes" charity bowling event has been scheduled for Saturday, April 27, at AMF Lewisville Lanes in Lewisville, Texas.
Over $60,000 was raised at the 2012 STRIKEoutDiabetes Tournament to directly benefit diabetes research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes and its complications.

The only regional competition on the January schedule is the PBA Central Region Legend Lanes Regular/Senior Doubles Classic in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Jan. 25-27. Activity in the other PBA regions resumes in February.

ESPN Classic will re-broadcast the finals of the 2012 U.S. Open, won by Pete Weber, at 11 p.m. ET on Monday, Jan. 14, and the finals of the 2011 PBA Tournament of Champions, won by Mika Koivuniemi, at 11 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28.
