Yeri Ramadona, Geraldine Ng win men's and women's Open Masters titles in Indonesia

Yeri Ramadona of Indonesia and Singapore's Geraldine Ng (pictured left, l-r) captured the men's and women's Open Masters titles at the 11th Indonesia Open Bowling Championship Sunday at Jaya Ancol bowling center in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Ramadona, who led the men's local pool in qualifying to earn a first-round bye, averaged 237.7 over ten games in Round Two en route to earn the No. 1 seed for the six-player stepladder finals.
In the title match, Ramadona topped No. 2 seed, Yaqoub Al-Shatti of Kuwait, 237-201, to wrap up the title and to earn 150 million Indonesia Rupee or approximately $13,185.
Ng, seeded first in the women's finals, lost the first game of the championship match against fellow-countrywoman Cherie Tan, 222-220. As in most of the Asian Open Masters events, the No. 1 seed of the Indonesia Open finals must be defeated twice to win the title.
Ng rebounded with a 206-197 win in the decisive game to seal the victory and to pocket the 50.000.000 IDR top prize (approx. $4,395).
The top 16 Asian men and the top 16 Asian women qualified for the Indonesia leg, the seventh stop of the Asian Bowling Federation Tour, on September 23.
