PBA League semifinal matches air Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN

After quarterfinal wins by the HotelPlanner.com Pittsburgh Jack Rabbits and Wheaties L.A. X last Sunday, the semifinal field for the third annual Professional Bowlers Association League Elias Cup Playoffs is set for Sunday's telecast (April 12) on ESPN at 2 p.m. ET.
Both the Jack Rabbits (Wes Malott, Ryan Ciminelli, Bryon Smith, Dan MacLelland and Osku Palermaa) and L.A. X (Jason Belmonte, Martin Larsen, Andres Gomez, Stuart Williams and Patrick Allen) won one-ball sudden-death roll-offs in the quarterfinals before a sold-out crowd at Bayside Bowl in Portland, Maine, to advance.
In next Sunday's best-of-two-game Baker format team matches, the Jack Rabbits will meet L.A. X while the Concrete Software BROOKLyN STyLES (Sean Rash, Parker Bohn III, Walter Ray Williams Jr., Tom Smallwood and Jason Sterner) will battle the defending champion Bass Pro Shops Silver Lake Atom Splitters (Chris Barnes, Tom Daugherty, Craig Nidiffer, Mika Koivuniemi and Dick Allen).
The STyLES and Atom Splitters won their quarterfinal matches on ESPN on March 29.
The two semifinal winners will advance to the Elias Cup Finals on ESPN Sunday, April 19 at 1 p.m. ET, where the title will be decided in a contest involving singles, alternate-ball doubles, Baker trios and Baker team matches. The singles, doubles and trios matches each will be worth one point, and the Baker team match will be worth three points.
