IBPSIALogo.jpg The first-ever IBPSIA "Hands on Training Seminars" (H.O.T.S.) European tour concluded this week with the class held in Brno in the Czech Republic.

IBPSIA which stands for The International Bowling Pro Shops and Instructor's Association, held four classes during this swing and each event was deemed a tremendous success by the organizers and participants.

The tour started in the United Kingdom with the class being held at Airport Bowl near Heathrow on the west side of London with eight participants.

Next was the stop at Bowltech's main warehouse in Made, Netherlands, where there were ten students; four from Holland, three from nearby Belgium and the other three made the twelve hour drive from Krakow, Poland.

The third stop was in Barcelona, Spain at Sweetrade, a free-standing pro shop which also serves as the Bowltech location in Spain. Six students participated there, including two from Madrid and one from Portugal. Taking the course and also handling translation was Spanish national team member Melvin Ocando, who did an outstanding job and helped the class in Spain run very smoothly.

The final stop was at Cihelna Entertainment Center in Brno, Czech Republic. That class also had six students, five Czechs and one making the relatively short drive from Bratislava, Slovakia. All in all it was a very successful venture with all students gaining knowledge and experience and looking forward to it helping their businesses become more successful.

All of the Bowltech people should be commended for the outstanding job they did in organizing the classes and handling the logistics.

There have already been discussions about another swing next year around the end of the bowling season, which might make it easier for the pro shop operators to get away for the required 4 days.

Bowltech's other locations in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and France have already been mentioned as possible class locations.
