Kaizen by Diandra, a Chicago-based clothing line, is debuting a new collection of athletic wear designed by up-and-coming fashion designer Kristin Hassan and worldwide bowling sensation Diandra Asbaty.

Hassan, a rising local designer who recently competed on Bravo's new hit series "The Fashion Show" and Asbaty, a two-time World Bowler of the Year, are proud to introduce Kaizen's latest Tokyo collection. The collection is named after and inspired by this ultra funky and lively fashion capital.

Asbaty has won over 50 international medals as an 11-year member of Team USA, has been featured on "Good Morning America" and in USA Today. She is excited to collaborate with such a young and spirited designer.

"Kristin has a unique ability to translate the attitude and feel of the Kaizen by diandra brand into the finished product. Kristin's ideas are as forward thinking as her work ethic is strong, and we are lucky to have her as a part of the Kaizen team," Asbaty said.

Kaizen is a fashion forward brand of athletic wear for anyone who likes to look stylish while they sweat-whether they're biking, golfing, bowling, playing tennis, or running. The material is ultra light and comfortable for an array of different active lifestyles while still chic enough to be worn outside the gym.

This versatile attire is hip, trendy and infused with both international flavor and urban edge. Like the Tokyo collection, each of the Kaizen collections is inspired by different cities from around the world and their own unique cultures.

Having traveled to over 15 different countries for worldwide bowling competitions, Asbaty's muses are her favorite places, and each of their individual style and flair is woven into her beautifully constructed designs.

Both her Bogota and Chicago collections were major successes internationally and have been featured on "ABC 7 News" and in ESPN The Magazine. As this young company grows and expands, it has already established a worldwide presence with global representation. Athletes from around the world - from France and Japan to Chile and Australia - are outfitting themselves in these stylish and modern designs.

"Bowling has provided me the opportunity and honor of traveling the world doing what I love. It is only natural that my passion for unique people and places would be infused into this designer clothing line," Asbaty said.

The new Tokyo collection will be available June 24, 2009 and Asbaty is currently at the International Bowl Expo in Las Vegas to present the new collection at the Trade Show on Wednesday and Thursday at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
