Kegel donates two portable Lane Mapper to European Tenpin Bowling Federation

John Davis, founder of Florida-based Kegel company, the industry leader in lane machines, met with Addie Ophelders, president of the European Tenpin Bowling Federation and members of the ETBF Technical Committee at Dream-Bowl Palace in Unterföhring near Munich, Germany from January 22-24, 2010.
Davis who was accompanied by Ted Thompson, Bill Mongeau and Herman Glenn donated two portable Kegel Lane Mapper to the ETBF for charting the lanes in European bowling centers who want to participate in the ETBF Center Certification Program.
Davis and Ophelders also agreed to continue the cooperation between Kegel and the ETBF. Kegel is the official lane maintenance partner of the ETBF.
Dream-Bowl Palace is the largest bowling center in Europe since the 52-laner with all 52 Brunswick equipped lanes on a single floor with no supporting pillars has opened its doors on Dec. 14, 2009.

Dream-Bowl Palace will host the 1st Track Dream-Bowl Palace Open 2010, an European Bowling Tour Silver event (June 27 - July 4, 2010), the 2010 Men's World Championships (Aug. 11-22, 2010), the 2011 European Youth Championships (April 16-25, 2011) and the 2011 Men's European Championships (June 10-19, 2011).
Dream-Bowl Palace became the first bowling center in Europe which was certified with the new equipment.
Joining Davis and his crew in the technical training camp were Roni Ashkenazi (Chairman of the ETBF Technical Committee), ETBF technical delegates Mario Nicolaides, Pini Hershkovitz and Harri Kalliokoski as well as René Exelmans (member of the ETBF Education Committee).
