The organizers of the Odense International, moved the European Bowling Tour “Satellite” tournament, orginally scheduled for May 28 to June 4, to an Aug. 27 to Sept. 3 slot.

In an earlier announcement the EBT has informed that the 11th International Wroclaw Open has been canceled due to “technical issues in the (bowling) center”. The tournament, which was conducted from 2010 through 2016 as an EBT “satellite” event, was supposed to be held Feb. 8-12, 2017.

Heading into the 18th season since the inception in the year 2000 the EBT is down to 14 tournaments in 11 countries including three “Platinum” events, three “Gold”, three “Bronze” and five “Satellite” events, which will offer total prize fund of approximately 725.000 Euro.

Women will receive eight pins handicap each game, an equality handicap provided to women in all EBT events.

The top 50 men and the top 50 women in each event will receive ranking points. Those points will be tabulated throughout the season to determine the top 8 men and top 8 women, who will be eligible to compete in the 11th EBT Masters in February 2018 in Tilburg, Netherlands.

The men’s and women’s ranking leader at the end of the 2017 season will be awarded 1.000 Euro apiece.
