Andres Gomez joins Turbo’s Elite Franchise Player Staff

Three-time PBA Tour champion Andres Gomez has signed a deal with Turbo Bowling Accessories to join their Elite Franchise Player Staff. The 42-year-old native of Colombia, will represent Turbo on both the PBA and World Bowling Tours. In addition to being a staff player, Gomez will also serve as Turbo’s South and Central American Sales Manager.

“We’ve always regarded Andres as one of the most professional and respected bowlers on the PBA Tour,” said Lori Mraz, President of Turbo Bowling Accessories. “He will be an important part of our continued vision to promote the sport through education and youth development.”

Gomez, a long-time member of the Colombia national team, has bowled on the PBA Tour since 2005, amassing $282,137 in career earnings. He earned his certification as a USBC Silver Certified Coach in 2008. His knowledge and teaching expertise will be essential during Turbo’s various coaching and educational clinics throughout the world.

“Andres has a great passion for the sport,” said Mraz. “We look forward to working with him and sharing his knowledge of the sport with our fans.”

As owner of AG Distributing, which distributes Storm products throughout South and Central America, Gomez will now also serve as a distributor of Turbo Bowling Accessories. This will provide Turbo with an enhanced strategic sales focus south of the United States as it looks to expand its global footprint.
