Indonesia wins first gold medal in 19th Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships

    2006AsCWomenSinglesTop3.jpg Putty Armein (center) from the host country of Indonesia rolled games of 217, 279, 242, 247, 193 and 211 to capture the first gold medal in the 19th Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships at Jaya Ancol Bowl in Jakarta on the long oil pattern. Armein felled 1389 pins, an average of 231,50, Her team mate Tannya Roumimper (left) took the silver medal with 1315 (219,71). Haruka Matsuda (right) earned the bronze medal with 1291 (215,71).
