Singles gold medalist Putty Armein from the host country of Indonesia won her second gold medal in the 19th Asian Championships when she captured the title in women's All Events. The local favorite, who has also won silver in the doubles and team events, averaged 215,54 over 24 games en route to the field-best 5173 pinfall total.

Armein shot the highest six-game series in three out of four events, in Singles (13899, Doubles (1315) and Trios (1293) and added a solid 1176-set in the Team event to outaverage her nearest competitor by nearly ten pins.

Kim Yeau Jin of Korea finished with 4941 pinfall total and an average of 205,88 to claim the silver medal. Japan's long-time international Ayano Katai posted 4865 and had an average of 202,71 to secure the bronze medal.

The top 16 players advanced to the women's Masters finals. For the other 41 players including all Malaysian bowlers, ABF Tour champion Vanessa Fung from Hong Kong and Trios world champions Liza Clutario, Cecilia Yap and Liza Del Rosario, Philippines, the championships are over.
