    Quick Notes

2015WBTFinalsDomBarrett.jpg England's Dom Barrett (pictured left), who rolled a unique 10-strike 300 game in winning the World Bowling Tour Men's Finals presented by the PBA, was mildly surprised when PBA CEO and Commissioner Tom Clark announced that Barrett would receive the traditional $10,000 bonus for bowling a nationally-televised perfect game.

The finals, which aired on Feb. 21 on ESPN, introduced an experimental World Bowling scoring system that awarded 30 pins for each strike in a 10-frame game with no "bonus" shots in the 10th frame.

But to make sure he complied with the traditional 12-strike scoring system in earning the bonus, Barrett told Clark, "I'll be happy to throw two more strikes if you'd like."
