20th Asian Bowling Federation General Assembly being held in Hong Kong

Asian Bowling Federation President Sheikh Talal M. Al Sabah from Kuwait opened the 20th ABF General Assembly this morning in a meeting room on the 9th floor at the Royal Pacific Hotel in Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Invited to attend the assembly was WTBA President Kevin Dornberger, United States. One of the topics on the agenda for the representatives of the ABF member federations is the election of the next ABF President. Incumbent president Sheikh Talal is seeking re-election.

The assembly is held in conjunction with the 20th Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships, which will be staged from July 4-12 at Hong Kong Bowling City. The championships will start on Friday with the Opening Ceremony, a Welcome Reception and the Official Practice. Competition commences on Saturday, July 5th, with the men's and women's Singles.
