The finals of the Cheetah Championship presented by PBA Bowling Challenge Mobile Game will stream live at 3 p.m., Chameleon Championship presented by HotelPlanner.com at 5:30 p.m., Scorpion Championship presented by Reno Tahoe USA at 7:15 p.m. and the Shark Championship at 9 p.m. on ESPN3. All times are Eastern.
In addition to the new ESPN3 coverage, the finals of the four animal pattern events will air on tape delay on ESPN in the previously announced time slots.
The Cheetah finals will air on ESPN on Sunday, Dec. 18 at 1 p.m.; the Chameleon finals will air on Saturday, Dec. 24 at 1 p.m.; and the Scorpion and Shark Championships will air back-to-back on Christmas Day at 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. ET.
ESPN’s live coverage of the PBA World Championship will kick off its WSOB VIII coverage on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. ET.
“The prestige of the WSOB and PBA title events provides ESPN with a quality addition to its ESPN3 programming,” said PBA CEO and Commissioner Tom Clark (pictured).
“These events are important to the bowling community and having live access to the finals is a great bonus for our fans. And it’s especially rewarding for our Xtra Frame subscribers, who watch these tournament unfold during our live coverage of the preliminary rounds. Fans can now stream the event live if they choose.”
ESPN3, ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network, is available on computers, smartphones, tablets and streaming devices through WatchESPN and the ESPN app.
