There were a total of 144 bowlers from 24 provinces taking part in the six-day National Championship tournament. The event included eight categories: singles, doubles, trios, five-player Baker team, all-events, masters, high game and group team champion.
This National Championship is the first in a series of events that the Chinese Bowling Association (CBA) will be holding over the next three years, all of which will be played exclusively on QubicaAMF AMFlite II pins.
AMFlite II pins are the industry standard and have been for more than three decades. The proprietary manufacturing process, combined with the highest quality materials, gives the AMFlite II pins the best weight control and balance of any pin. This results in dependable and consistent scoring, routinely setting high scoring records, including 28 – 900 series, making the AMFlite II the preferred pin for tournament play.
“The National Championship was an impressive event and we are looking forward to returning to Hao’s Bowling to host the 52nd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup. We expect another exceptional tournament with the best bowlers from all over the world coming together to compete in October,” says Roger Creamer, Director of International Relations for QubicaAMF.
“QubicaAMF is very excited to be partnering with the CBA and Hao’s Bowling as the title sponsor of the Southern National China Championships, and to be the preferred equipment supplier of the CBA.”
QubicaAMF, under the patronage of the Chinese Bowling Association, also ran a series of management training seminars that were held in conjunction with the National Championships.
The seminars were run by QubicaAMF and its distribution partner in the region, Lane Turning Bowling. Creamer and Rosa Katz, Director of Customer Experience and Strategic Services for QubicaAMF, led the five-day event which included over two dozen attendees from various bowling centers throughout the region.
