World Bowling secures global broadcast for World Men Championships

The world’s best bowlers will enjoy international coverage with broadcast partnerships secured for the 2018 CGSE • Million Tinkle World Men Championships in Hong Kong on December 1-5, 2018.

The event will be showcased across multiple territories in China (Tencent), Hong Kong, (i-Cable), Indonesia (TVRI), Singapore (StarHub), Malaysia (Astro), Mongolia (SPS HD), Myanmar (SkyNet), Thailand (TrueVisions), Vietnam (HTV, VTV Cab, SCTV), New Zealand (Sky Sports), Finland (Elisa), Netherlands (Ziggo), Canada (FloBowling), USA (FloBowling) and the Olympic Channel for all remaining countries.

The deals were distributed by World Bowling’s sports consultancy Reddentes Sports, who were appointed last month to oversee the broadcast production and media rights for the World Men Championships.

Sheikh Talal Mohammed Al-Sabah, President of World Bowling, says “We are delighted to have our flagship event for 2018 shown across the globe, particularly in Asia, Europe and North America where bowling enjoys a strong following.

“We are encouraged by Reddentes Sport’s ability to secure these broadcast deals in order to raise bowling’s profile and grow the sport. We look forward to allowing our fans the ability to follow the best male bowlers in the world next week as the World Champions are crowned in Hong Kong.”
