Scott Pohl wins his first title and twenty grand in 2012 July High Roller

Former Team USA member Scott Pohl (pictured left, click image to enlarge) of Burnsville, Minn., averaged 246.50 in the finals of the 2012 July High Roller en route to win the title and the $20,000 winner's check July 6 at The Orleans Bowling Center in Las Vegas.
Competing in his 41st High Roller tournament and representing the Age 40-54 division, Pohl rolled a 226 game in the championship match against Michael D. Moore of Orlando, Fla. (211) and Isaac Amkie of Col. Polancio, Mexico (182) to capture his first career High Roller title.
Moore, who advanced from the 39 & under division received $11,000 for second place and Amkie, who bowled in the 55/210 division, pocketed $10,000 for third place.
