Generations Pro Bowling Tour awards $650,000 in Prize Money

The Generations Pro Bowling Tour today announced that through the first eleven events its inaugural season, more than $650,000 in prize money has been awarded to a total of 125 bowlers competing in GBT events.
Paced by two-time GBT event winners David Ozio (right; $63,300) and Dale Eagle (left; $55,800), a total of six bowler have won more than $20,000 while 16 bowler have captured more than $10,000 in prize money.
"From the outset our goal was to provide a venue for senior bowler to compete on a real tour and win real money," said Steve Sanders, Founder of the GBT. "We are thrilled that so many bowlers have been able to be rewarded for their hard work. With our 1:2 cashing ratio more bowlers will win more money at every GBT event."

The inaugural season of the GBT began in September with an eight event swing in the Midwest and Northeast. After a break from Thanksgiving through December the tour picked-up in January with three Florida events. The GBT will resume in March with three events in the Midwest in Lansing (Mar. 2-6); Ft. Wayne (Mar. 9-12) and Columbus (Mar. 16-19). The season will conclude with three events in April.

To complement the competitive professional tour, all GBT events will offer fans the opportunity to interact with the stars in pro-ams, autograph sessions and other activities.
