First PABCON Women Championships to be held in Chile

The first Pan American Bowling Confederation Women Championships will be held in Santiago de Chile from October 19-24, 2008.
16 PABCON member federations - Argentina, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, United States, Venezuela, and the host country of Chile - have announced to send a delegation to the championships.
The event will be staged at Happyland Bowling Center, a 16-laner with GSX Brunswick lanes located at Mall Plaza Vespucio, La Florida. The lane maintenance will be made by Kegel.
Players will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in Singles, Doubles, Trios, Team, All Events and Masters in a five-day competition starting on Oct. 20 with the Singles event and ending on Oct. 24 with the Masters final.
