Bill O'Neill (pictured left) of Southampton, Pa, has been named the Kegel Bowler of the Month for February 2010 by the Bowling Writers Association of America.

O'Neill backed up his September 2009 BWAA Kegel Bowler of the Month award winning his second PBA title in five months, the 67th Lumber Liquidators U.S Open, downing top-seed and defending champion Mike Scroggins (right), Amarillo, Texas, 269-207.

The closing ten-bagger locked up the $60,000 first place check and a three-year exemption on the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour. The win also moves O'Neill into the lead in PBA Player of the Year points with four standard events remaining.

Finishing a very close second in voting was Walter Ray Williams, Jr., Ocala, Florida, winner of the USBC Masters. Others capturing votes were Brian Voss, Alpharetta, Georgia, and Diandra Asbaty, Chicago, winners of the PBA Bayer Don and Paula Carter Mixed Doubles.
