Monteiro and Rodrigues take different routes to earn the Brazilian World Cup spots

2009BRAWCQFranzMonteiro_small.jpg2009BRAWCQRobertaRodrigues_small.jpgFranz Monteiro and Roberta Rodrigues won the men's and women's title in the 18th Brazil Open Cup Qubica AMF en route to earn the Brazilian spots for the 45th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup. However, they took different routes win the titles as Monteiro had to win four games in three matches while Rodrigues needed just one win to seal the victory. The 2009 Bowling World Cup will be held at Melaka International Bowling Center in Melaka, Malaysia from Nov. 13 through 20, 2009.

Lazaridi, Iskhakov win Bowling World Cup Kazakhstan National Championships

They will represent Kazakhstan at the 45th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup November 13-20 at Melaka International Bowling Center in Melaka, Malaysia. In the meantime, Anne-Marie Board, QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup Manager, has announced the tentative schedule for the 45th edition of the prestigious event.

Paeng sets new 3-game record

20090630PaengNepomuceno_small.jpgSix-time world champion Paeng Nepomuceno set a new Bowling World Cup qualifying three-game record with a series 815 last Sunday at the Superbowl Bowling Center in Makati City. Nepomuceno rolled games of 257, 269 and 289. According to Kenneth Gavino, marketing manager of AMF Puyat which has been sponsoring the local eliminations for the past 40 years, Nepomuceno's feat is a new World Cup qualifying record. The 45th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup will be held from Nov. 14-21, 2009 at Melaka International Bowling Center in Melaka, Malaysia.

They will represent Belgium at the 45th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup from November 14 through 21 at Melaka International Bowling Center, a new 52-laner inside the Melaka International Trade Center in Melaka, Malaysia.

Williams to represent Team USA at QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup in Malaysia

2009WalterRayWilliams_small.jpgAt this point in his career, there aren't many bowling experiences that are new to Team USA member Walter Ray Williams Jr., but when he competes in the QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup this November, he will take aim at a title he's never had a chance to win in the past. Williams was recently selected to represent the United States in the World Cup, which will take place Nov. 14-21 in Melaka, Malaysia. It marks the first time a professional bowler has represented Team USA in the event.

They won the right to participate in the 45th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup to be held in Melaka, Malaysia between the 14th and the 21st. of November in a new 52 AMF lane Melaka International Bowling Center located inside the Melaka International Trade Centerr, which will open in June. The National finals were held on the 40 lanes of Centre de Quilles 440 in Laval, Quebec, on March 14 and 15.

45th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup comes to Melaka, Malaysia

QubicaAMF has announced that the 2009 Bowling World Cup will be held in a new 52-lane center in Melaka, Malaysia, from 14th to 21st November. "It is 22 years since the Bowling World Cup was in Malaysia," said John Walker, Chief Executive Officer of QubicaAMF, "and it is high time that we came back to a country that holds bowling in such high esteem." John Walker went on to say: "We are honored that the tournament will be backed by Chief Minister of Melaka, Datuk Wira Ali Rastam. The Melaka International Bowling Center has 26 lanes on each side of a wide and roomy central concourse.
