Parker Bohn III (pictured) of Jackson, N.J. ended a four-year winless streak with victory in the PBA World Championship. The 49-year-old lefthander defeated No. 1 seed,
Jason Belmonte (right) of Australia, in the title match, 254-227, to win his 33rd career PBA title and the $50,000 top prize. It was the second career "major" for Bohn, who ranks sixth on the all-time PBA titles list trailing to Walter Ray Williams Jr. (47), Earl Anthony (43), Norm Duke (37), Pete Weber (36) and Mark Roth (34).
