The Canadian Tenpin Federation has announced its Bowler of Year selections for 2015. Beginning with youth girl, from London, ON, Mykaela Mitchell, and for youth boy Mitch Hupe, from Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Mitchell (left) won 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals while representing Canada on the Youth Team at the Pan American Confederation Championships. She placed third for a bronze medal at the Canadian Team Trials to make the Youth Team. Mitchell won gold, 1 Silver and 2 bronze medals at the Canadian Youth Championships representing the Team Ontario. She also won a bronze medal in singles at the YBC Nationals.

Hupe (right) won a bronze medal and placed in the top ten for all-events while representing Canada at the Pan American Confederation Championships. He won the gold medal at the Canadian Team Trials to make the Youth Team and placed 4th to also earn a spot on the men’s team. While bowling in collegiate events, his Wichita Team were Sectional champs and had several other wins.

During the Pan American Confederation Championships Fast won a silver medal in singles and placed in the top 10 in all other events.

Chapman placed 4th in the Canadian Team Trials to make the senior team to attend the World Championships. At the Worlds he won 4 medals out of a possible 5, gold in all-events, silver in doubles, bronze in singles and bronze in the team event.

The adult team Bowler of the Year awards go out to Robin Orlikowski of Grand Rapids, MI (left) and Dan MacLelland from Kitchener, Ontario (right). Robin won the gold medal at the Canadian Team Trials to win a spot on the adult team, and was also selected to compete in Pan Am Games in Toronto, 2015.

Daniel won two medals at the prestigious Pan Am Games, gold in Doubles and bronze in Singles. He also won the gold medal at the Canadian Team Trials and added a top 10 finish in a PBA Major, and WBT Event, to his list of accomplishments.

The Canadian Tenpin Federation was formed in 1969 to qualify representatives for international competition. CTF became a full membership organization on August 1, 2004 to deliver membership services to 30,000 plus registered tenpin bowlers in Canada.
