« Danielle McEwan takes over second place in Munich

The PBA League Elias Eight Bracket Contest is a new “PBA Year of the Fan” promotion featuring the four-year-old PBA team competition. One lucky fan who correctly picks the winners of seven PBA League matches will be declared the winner.
In case of ties, whomever comes closest in determining the total pinfall for both teams in the five-player Elias Cup final match will be the first tiebreaker, and time of entry will be the second if needed. The winner will be announced on Monday, May 9.
To enter the contest, fans ages 21 or older must fill out the official PBA League Elias Eight bracket and post it on your Facebook or Twitter page using the hashtag #PBAEliasCup and tag the PBA social channels (https://www.facebook.com/ProfessionalBowlersAssociation) or @PBATour.
All brackets must be posted no later than 8 p.m. EDT (5 p.m. PDT) on Thursday, March 31. See complete rules below. The official bracket can be found on pba.com, or look for a link on PBA’s Facebook or Twitter pages.
PBA League competition will be contested April 2-3 at Bayside Bowl in Portland, Maine, for telecast on ESPN on four consecutive Sundays at 1 p.m. EDT, beginning Sunday, April 17.
Silver Lake, managed by Mark Baker, won the 2014 title with a roster featuring Chris Barnes, Dom Barrett, Wes Malott, Tommy Jones and Bryon Smith (pictured left).
It repeated in Portland in 2015 as the Bass Pro Shops Silver Lake Atom Splitters with a roster including Barnes, Koivuniemi, Craig Nidiffer, Tom Daugherty and PBA League Mark Roth MVP Dick Allen (right).
The Atom Splitters will enter the 2016 Elias Cup bracket as the top-seeded team, returning with Baker managing a roster including Barnes, Allen, Daugherty and newcomers Matt McNiel and 2016 FireLake PBA Tournament of Champions winner Jesper Svensson. The other seven teams are seeded based upon how they finished in the 2015 Elias Cup finals.
