« Colombia sweeps Singles titles at PABCON Champion of Champions

“We are delighted to welcome Mary aboard,” commented BVL Board Chairman John LaSpina. “She is the perfect candidate to spearhead the BVL cause. Her experience and her expertise will be a wonderful match for the position – we feel fortunate that she will be able to join us.”
Montanya will be returning to work in the PR/Marketing field. “Elizabeth accepted the BVL ED position in 2008 at the height of the recession following seven years of declining contributions from 2001-2007,” noted LaSpina.
“Under Elizabeth’s watch BVL has enjoyed a 35% increase in contributions, an expansion of revenue sources, a re-branding, and decreased overhead. That speaks volumes.” Montanya will continue to provide public relations programming to BVL.
Harrar will join BVL following her previous role as Executive Administrator for Thunderbird Lanes which had several centers in the Philadelphia area. In addition to her extensive knowledge of the bowling industry, Harrar has long been an avid BVL supporter coordinating very successful fund-raising campaigns over the years.
Explains Harrar, “I am very passionate about the veterans cause — and specifically BVL, which provides veterans with life-changing recreation therapy programs and services that can really make a difference. This is my dream opportunity — to work in an industry that I love and serve America’s veterans. I can’t wait to get started!”
