Cancellation No.2 - Memorial Antonio Vendemini dropped

Just one month after the European Tenpin Bowling Federation has announced that the Hungarian Open was cancelled, they lost another event from the 2006 European Bowling Tour as the 9th stop in Naples was dropped.

The organizer of the 8th Memorial Antonio Vendemini has decided to cancel the tournament, originally scheduled for Oltremare Bowling Center in Naples, May 2-7, 2006.

The Hungarian Open was replaced with the Danish Masters Classic in the meantime. It was an easy choice for the ETBF as the Danes were the only tournament that has applied for the Hungarian spot. Now, once again all ETBF member federations are invited to send in their applications for an alternate tournament. "It is indeed not acceptable with these cancellations and it is a matter which generally will be discussed by the ETBF Presidium later on." ETBF Vice Presidium Kim Thorsgaard Jensen stated.

The deadline for the application period is Friday, December 9.
