Pasi Uotila, Mai Ginge Jensen emerge as champions in 7th EBT Masters 2014

In the men's title match, top seeded Uotila defeated Martin Larsen of Sweden, 246-202. On the women's finale, Jensen, took downd tournament leader Birgit Pöppler of Germany, 224-207.

Dominic Barrett wins his 8th EBT and 3rd PBA title in 13th Qatar Bowling Open

Barrett, who entered the four-man playoffs as the No. 1 seed, fired games of 257 and 258 to defeat No. 3 seed, Mattias Olsson (r.) of Sweden, 515-467, in two games total pins format. Olsson received 14.400 Euro for second place.

The two-handed lefty rolled games of 278, 213, 234, 237, 277 and 251 in Squad 15 for 1490 total to beat out previous leader Marshall Kent (r.), United States, for the top spot by 33 pins.

Wetterberg (l.) toppled 1410 pins to leap fifty spots into fourth place. Paulsson (r.) was thirty pins behind with 1380 to move into ninth place. Qualifying continues Monday with squads 15-17 and concludes with the Desperado Squad slated for 11 p.m. AST.

Marshall Kent (pictured), United States, averaged 242.83 in Saturday's Squad 9 to rise to the top of the leader board in the 13th Qatar Bowling Open currently underway at Qatar Bowling Center in Doha, Qatar. Kent, who won his first European Bowling Tour title in the 2012 Russian Open, had games of 228, 257, 297, 268, 194 and 213 to lead the field of 105 players from 23 countries with 1457. Another seven players including Squad 10 and 11 leaders Osku Palermaa, Finland, and Martin Larsen, Sweden, cracked the top 10 on Saturday.

Lampo rolled had games of 234, 236, 198, 277, 209 and 236 at the Qatar Bowling Center in Doha to lead the field of 70 players from 21 countries with 1390 and an average of 231.67 for six games. Cameron Weier and Matt Gasn, United States, who led Squad 5 with 1376 and 1341, sit second and third place.

Ahmed Al-Deyab takes the early lead in EBT season-ending Qatar Bowling Open

Top 2 qualifying leaders of Day One and Two are automatically qualified for the finals

2013QatarOpenLogo_small.jpg Ahmed Al-Deyab of Qatar set the early pace in the 13th Qatar Bowling Open as the season-ending event of the 2013 European Bowling Tour got underway at Qatar Bowling Center in Doha, Qatar. Al-Deyab leads a field of 40 players from 12 countries after two days of qualifying with 1324 and an average of 220.67 for six games. Second place belongs to Hussain Al-Suwaidi, UAE, who led the opening squad with 1293 and was second to Al-Deyab in Squad 2 with 1308.

Sweden's Kevin Karlsson wins his first EBT title in 2nd Florence Ebonite International

Joline Persson Planefors wins women's ranking in Florence

Karlsson (479) and Larsen (435) eliminated Jaroslav Lorenc (421), Czech Republic, and Frederik Øhrgaard (375), Denmark, in the final two-game eliminator round to advance to the championship match. Joline Persson Planefors of Sweden won the women's ranking.

Van Geel had games of 187, 247, 228, 222, 236 and 193 to overtake the qualifying lead with 1313. Previous leaders Antonino Fiorentino of Italy slipped to second place with 1278. Dante Didon Francesco of Italy is the man "on the bubble" in 38th place with 1166 and an average of 194.33.

Sara Del Olmo (r.) of Spain is the best foreign bowler and the best of 18 women in 12th place with 1212.

Paul Moor wins his 13th career European Bowling Tour title in Catania

Englishman becomes the first multiple winner on the 2013 Tour and ties Finn Osku Palermaa for first place on the all-time career EBT title list

Paul Moor (pictured) of England won his 13th career European Bowling Tour title in the inaugural Brunswick Etna Open Sunday at Bowling La Plaja in Catania, Italy. In the final round robin match play round, Moor beat out Robert Andersson, Sweden; Ronnie Russell, United States; and Giovanni Conti, Italy, to earn the 6.000 Euro top prize. The three-time EBT point ranking leader (2004-06) became the first multiple winner on the 2013 Tour and tied Osku Palermaa, Finland, for most EBT titles.

Wins his first career European Bowling Tour title by two pins over Norway's Svein Åke Ek

The Swede pocketed 35.000 NOK or approx. 4.315 Euro for his first career European Bowling Tour title while Norway's Svein Åke Ek (r.) received 20.000 NOK as the first runner-up. Osku Palermaa, Finland, finished in third place worth 15.000 NOK.

As the top 8 carry over the pins from Round 4 into the last three-game round, every single pin was important. Ek and Valenta used high scores of 267 and 245 in the second game to move to the top and closed out with 247 and 259 to finish 1, 2 with 729 and 719, respectively.

Annie Thorell of Sweden wins the women's ranking of the Norwegian Open 2013 by Brunswick

Gruffman had games of 235, 234 and 243 for 712 (237.33 average) to lead the top eight players into a fourth round clash with the top eight qualifiers. As Annie Thorell (r.) of Sweden was the lone woman who survived this round, she has already won the women's ranking in Oslo.

Veitvet bowling center co-owner Petter Hansen (r.) had the highest average of the 16 competitors with 243.33 to make the cut in second place with 730.
