Moor beat out PBA Hall of Famer Pete Weber (r.) for the top spot by seven pins. Weber, who had back-to-back 300 games in qualifying jumped from 7th to second with 2505 behind the field-best 935 series.
Previous leader Nicole Sanders (left), Netherlands, fell two spots to earn the third and final spot with 2504.

Dutch national team member Nicole Sanders (l.) had a 912 4-game series in the Round of 48 and added 32 pins handicap to overtake the lead in the 30th Trofeu Internacional Ciutat de Barcelona as the field was cut from 48 to 24 players.
Sanders carries a 1631 pinfall total into the next round. Thomas Larsen, Denmark, had the highest set of 960, to leap into second place. Tore Torgersen, Norway, used a 940 series to jump into third place with 1714.
With just four game to go before the cut to the top 3, qualifying leader Sean Rash (right), PBA/USA, is 89 pins off the pace in 14th place with 1525. PBA Hall of Famer Pete Weber is 7th with 1570.

Weber shoots back-to-back 300 games to take the lead in Barcelona
PBA super star Pete Weber (pictured left) rolled back-to-back 300 games in Squad 10 on Friday at Bowling Pedralbes en route to overtake the lead in the qualifying of the 30th Trofeu Internacional Ciutat de Barcelona. Weber, who had the tournament's second and third perfecto in games 3 and 4, checked in with 1420 six-game total and an average of 236.67. Swede Martin Larsen was close behind with 1408. Previous leader Jimmy Mortensen, Denmark, slipped to third with 1395. Robert Andersson, Sweden, who had the first 300, is fourth with 1387.
Qualifying ends on Saturday with four more squads. The 15 squad leaders plus the top 27 qualifiers and the next best six women will advance to the finals on Sunday, July 27, 2008. The winner will walk away with the 12.000 Euro top prize.
Mortensen leads in Barcelona after day three qualifying

Joining Mortensen, Andersson, Montfort and Sanders as squad leaders were 7th placed Guy Caminsky from South Africa (1343), 12th placed Johan Danielsson, Sweden (1320) and EBT ranking leader Osku Palermaa (left), Finland (1298). The 15 squad leaders plus the top 27 qualifiers and the next best six women will advance to the finals on Sunday, July 27, 2008. The winner will walk away with the 12.000 Euro top prize.
