« Francis Tan sets the pace in Round 2 at WBT Thailand

Carbonetto’s announcement comes a day after the brands of Ebonite International announced a two-year agreement with International Bowling Campus Youth Development to become the presenting sponsor of the Junior Gold Championships.
Many of Carbonetto’s responsibilities will revolve around the facilitation of this event. She will be reporting to Rob Gotchall, marketing manager – players, promotions and events.
“Jackie brings with her some exceptional communication and organizational skills, along with her bowling background,” said Gotchall. “Jackie will be one of our lead people in helping develop, organize and execute our new partnership with the USBC and the Junior Gold Program.”
Carbonetto is no stranger to the Junior Gold Championships, having competed in the event for four years and finishing as runner-up in the 2012 Junior Gold Championships while earning a spot on Junior Team USA for 2013. She will bring this level of commitment and excellence to the new position.
“I believe Junior Gold is a vital part of youth development and the growth in the future of our sport,” Carbonetto said.
“I am confident I am uniquely qualified and prepared for this job as I will be able to combine my passion and knowledge for the sport of bowling, along with my educational background in retail marketing and economics.”
Carbonetto has an extensive education and bowling background. Before coming on board with Ebonite International, Carbonetto was a student athlete at Sacred Heart University where she graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in marketing, along with a double major in economics.
She went on to be an assistant coach at Robert Morris University-Illinois while earning her master’s degree in business administration, management.
For the past two seasons, she has been competing on the Professional Women’s Bowling Association tour as a member of the Columbia 300 pro staff, in addition to managing a pro shop in Clarksville, Tenn. for BowlersMart since April, 2016.
“As a staffer, Ebonite International has provided me with an opportunity to live out one of my many dreams of being a professional bowler and competing on the women’s tour,” she said. “Now, I am able to transition into an even larger role within the company. It is an incredible feeling to have a company believe in my abilities and knowledge both on and off the lanes.”
In addition to working on Junior Gold related projects, Carbonetto will be assisting in the promotion and coordination of other events associated with the brands of Ebonite International, as well as assisting the sales and marketing offices.
Carbonetto currently resides in Clarksville, Tenn.
