Sandy Lowe retires from CTF High Performance Program

2010BWCSandyLowe.jpgThe Canadian Tenpin Federation, the governing body for Tenpin Bowling in Canada, has announced that long-time national team member and head coach, Sandy Lowe (pictured), has elected to retire from the High Performance Committee for CTF.

Sandy worked for High Performance for five years after retiring from the head coach position, a position she held for 10 years after she retired from the Canadian national team.

2009BWCCANFinalsSchmidtLagrangeLowe.jpgIn her 10 years as a national team member, Sandy earned a respectable 17 medals for her country. She was elected into the CTF Hall of Fame Member in the Superior Performance Category.

The picture on the right side shows Sandy with World Cup champions Michael Schmidt and Caroline Lagrange.

It was a difficult decision but she needed time to pursue other ventures including her hobby of photography. Sandy lives in Lindsay, Ontario, and enjoys to spend her spare time with her many grandchildren.
