Sweden’s Cajsa Wegner advanced the finals of the Hammer Bronzen Schietspoel Tournament, thanks to a 290 game in the Desperado Squad. One round later she had won the women’s ranking in Tilburg, Netherlands, as she was the lone out of six women in the finals, who made the cut to the eliminator finals.

Cajsa (featured photo) received 150 ranking points in the EBT silver event, the middle of five EBT tournament categories (platinum, gold, silver, bronze and satellite), to jump from 13th to fourth place with 319 point total.

Her sister Jenny Wegner (right) earned 72 points to maintain the lead after 5/12 events with 494 points.

Ghislaine Stigter-Van Der Tol (left), Netherlands, the women’s all-time EBT title leader with four wins, earned 120 points to leap from 9th to second place with 365 points. Cherie Tan of Singapore fell to third place with 335.

AIK International Tournament champion Bernice Lim of Singapore and Brunswick Ballmaster Open champion Sin Li Jane of Malaysia are tied for fifth place with 304.

Rounding out the top 8, who will qualify for the season-ending EBT Masters, are currently Daphne Tan of Singapore (292) and Siti Safiyah of Malaysia (277). The bowlers from Singapore and Malaysia did not compete in Tirlburg.

The sixth tournament of the 2018 European Bowling Tour season, the VI Brunswick Madrid Challenge, a “bronze” level event, will run from July 1-8 at Bowling Chamartín in Madrid, Spain.

After the Aalborg International has been canceled, the 2018 European Bowling Tour features 12 tournaments in 10 countries including two “platinum”, two “gold”, three “silver”, two “bronze” and three “satellite” events, which will offer total prize fund of roughly 625.000 Euro.

The top 50 men and the top 50 women in each event receive ranking points. Those points will be tabulated throughout the season to determine the top 8 men and top 8 women, who will be eligible to compete in the 12th EBT Masters July 8, 2019 at Bowling Chamartín in Madrid, Spain.
