Paul Moor misses the daily high series by one and two pins

Paul Moor of England missed the daily high series in the Open Divisions by the nearest possible margins. Moor, who advanced to the Daily Finals for the second consecutive day, Shot a 717 three-game series in Squad 6 to fall obe pin short to Gary Yamasaki of Houston, Texas with 718. Moor gave it another try in the 8th squad at 7pm. The two-time European ranking champion shot games of 235, 226 and 255 to fall two pins short of the high series with 716.
The players with the highest daily 3-game series from each of the five main divisions are seeded into the Grand Finale on Sunday. They do not bowl in the Daily Finals. However, Moor has still a chance to make it to the Grand Finale this evening and make some money as well. The five divisional winners of the Daily finals also earn a berth in the 76-player field who will battle it out for the $50,000 top prize.
The players that advance to the daily finals (1 in 8 participants) are guaranteed $250. The number of rounds in the Daily Final is based on the number of bowlers advancing from each division. Winners can cash up to $1,000.
