Three players shoot High Series in final qualifying squad on Friday

Three players in the fourth and final qualifying squad on Friday advanced to the Grand Finals of the Super Bowl Mini Eliminator through the daily high series. Adam Barta (pictured), Girard, OH, felled 737 to lead the 39 and under Division. Paul McCordic, Sugarland, TX, overtook the lead in the 50-59 Division with 722 and Philip Le Baquin, Cerritos, CA, rolled 664 high in the 205 and under. Advancing from the 40-49 was James Porter, Owosso, MI, 707 , while David Haynes, Las Vegas, NV, used a 300-game to win the Open Division today with 757.
Those five will bowl in the Grand Finale on Sunday afternoon and will earn a minimum of $1,250. They do not bowl in the Daily Finals.
1 in 8 players of each division advanced to the Daily Finals. They roll one game and have to beat half the field in their division to advance. Each round you advance you win more money. The number of rounds in the Daily Final is based on the number of bowlers advancing from each division. The last remaining bowler in each division also advances to the Grand Finale.
The only time the five divisions are combined is for the finals shootout game of the tournament. The final shootout game will feature the five division champions, each of whom have earned a minimum of $10,000 and will bowl one game for the $50,000 prize.
