Shane Keefauver shoots second 300 and first 800-series

Shane Keefauver, Canton, IL, shot the second perfect game of the 5th Annual Super Bowl Mini Eliminator during the penultimate qualifying squad here at the Orleans Bowling Center in Las Vegas. Keefauver, who qualified for the Grand Finale in the Open Division through yesterday's Daily Finals added games of 258 and 247 to post the first 800-series of the event with 805.
Keefauver advanced to the Daily Finals that will start right after the 26th and final qualifying squad and is guaranteed $250. The High Daily Series in each of the five main divisions (39 and under, 40-49, 50-59, 205 and under, Open) will automatically advance to the Grand Finale. The divisional winners of the Daily Finals will also earn a berth into the Grand Finale.
The 76-player field will be completed by top 2 women's series that have not yet advanced, the top 2 Super Senior series that have not yet advanced, and the highest series of an Open Division bowler age 40-49 and of an Open Division bowler age 50+ that have not yet advanced.
Leading Squad 25 and the day in the other four divisions are Andrew Graff (pictured), Las Vegas, NV, 634 in the 39 and under Division; Pete Thomas, Oklahoma City, OK, 656 in the 40-49 Division; Mark Van Meter, Albuquerque, NM, 737 in the 50-59 Division; and Curt Snyder, Yucca Valley, CA, 630 in the 205 and under Division.
Cuts to the finals for the woman and the 60 and over is done on a daily basis. All advancing women will bowl in their appropriate age division in the Daily Finals, while the Senior and the Super Senior division will be combined.
