Colombia's top-ranked bowler, Jaime Monroy, finished the season in runner-up position with 266 points, with Oliveira Juliano, Brazil, in third with 263.

Defending American Zone champion Andres Gomez of Colombia, now a PBA exempt bowler, finished in 12th position. 2004 co-leader Arturo Hernandez, Venezuela's Bowler of the Year 2004 and 2005 isn't listed among the top 25.

Vargas accumulated 313 points to lead Brazilians Jacque Costa (300) and Marizete Scheer (283), who finished in second and third, respectively.

Guerrero landed in fifth position with 259. The top 10 women are from Brazil and Colombia only. 2004 co-leader Karen Marcano was 11th with 136 points. Her teammate Inngellimar Contreras was 12th and her sister Alicia 16th. Andrea Rojas is the only player from Chile among the top 16 in 15th place.

The American Zone has been divided into three regions: North, Central/Caribbean and South. The top 16 men and 16 women in each region with the highest point total will be eligible for the Final Ranking Tournament American Zone 2005.

The tournament originally scheduled for December 6-10, 2005 in Panama has been postponed until February 28 - March 3, 2006. The 8 men and 8 women who will represent the American Zone at the World Ranking Masters will be selected from this event.

The World Ranking Masters includes the top 8 ranking men and women from the three zones, who will bowl for a separate prize fund. The 2006 WRM will be held in Kuwait, May 9-15, 2006.
