Girls Under-16 Singles champion Juliana Franco teamed with Juan Lopez to win her second gold medal in the Mixed Doubles event of the PABCON Youth Championships at Sport Complex Salitre in Bogota, Colombia.

The duo combined for 1917 five-game total and an average of 191.70. Lopez led team with 968 and Franco contributed 949.

Pamela Monzon and Juan Castillo from Guatemala landed in second place with 1877. Kamilah Dammers and Kevin Evertsz, Aruba, earned the bronze medal with 1814.

Puerto Rico swept the gold medals in the boys and girls doubles competition.

Cristian Azcona averaged 227.20, 34 pins higher than any other player, and posted the tournament's first 300 game to lead his team mate Josh Lee Encarnacion to the gold medal in Boys Doubles. Azcona had 1139 pins and Encarnacion added 933 for 2072 pinfall total.

Singles gold and silver medalists Jose Morales and Juan Castillo were 232 pins behind in second place to earn the silver medal with 1839. Bronze went to Alejandro Velasquez and Raúl Avilés.

Kristie Lopez and Valerie Bermudez outaveraged their nearest competitor by 17.5 pins to win the gold medal in Girls Doubles with 1890 5-game total and an average of 189.00. Lopez had the field-best 1073 series and Bermudez had 817.

Singles and Mixed Doubles gold medalist Juliana Franco and Maria Arevalo earned the silver medal with 1715, while Pamela Monzon and Karol Ayapan, Guatemala, took the bronze with 1684.
