In the men's title match, Zoghaib defeated Few Campos, 191-182, while Rodrigues celebrated a narrow 174-170 victory over Neuza Kae to win the women's title.
The Brazilian World Cup qualifier was organized by Pin1 Bowling Supply. The 2014 qualifier drew 68 participants, 59 men and nine women, from six Brazilian states (São Paulo, Santa Catarina, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso, Pará e Rio de Janeiro), who were divided into three groups: Women, Men Squad A (180 and over average) and Men Squad B (under 180 average).

He rolled games of 224, 196, 172 and 238 en route to win Squad A and earn the right to bowl the winner of Squad B for the title.
Rookie Campos finished Squad B qualifying in second place, averaging 185.67, then defeated his opponents in the eliminator rounds behind games of 233, 181, 171 and 168 to advance to the title match.
Rodrigues (left), a 26-year-old student, who has represented Brazil in the 2009 BWC in Melaka, Malaysia, averaged 205.00 for 17 games in the women's qualifying to earn the No. 1 seed for the five-player stepladder finals.
Kae (180), the No. 4 seed, eliminated Choi In Ok (166) and Marina Suartz (125) in the first round shootout match and went on to defeat Stephanie Martins in the semifinals, 176-166, before eventually falling to Rodrigues.
