Branagan (pictured) comes to Ebonite International after having worked in the pro shop industry alongside Ebonite pro staffer Dino Castillo in the Dallas area since July of 2006. He served as Castillo’s general manager, covering a total of seven shops, two of which he held primary responsibility for the oversight and all daily operations of.
In addition to his pro shop experience, Branagan is a passionate bowler. Starting at the age of 12, he worked his way through the youth ranks and bowled collegiately at Mesa Community College as a freshman before transferring to Arizona State University for his final three years of eligibility.
In July of 2004, he won the True Amateur Challenge (Now known as the True Amateur Tournament). He also helped his team to a 3rd place finish at the 2006 USBC Open Championships.
“To be a part of team EBI is a thrill and something I always wanted,” Branagan said. “I have always had a true care for EBI and how the products and company performs regardless of where I was as a bowler and a pro shop operator.”
Branagan said he is looking forward to meeting and talking with pro shop operators and bowlers alike and spreading the word on the great products and brands of Ebonite International.
“I cannot wait to take on the challenge of growing the EBI brands in my territory,” he said.
Mike Judy, North American Sales Manager for Ebonite International, said Branagan’s experience and passion for bowling will make him a great fit for the South Central territory. “We are very excited to have Branagan be a part of our team,” Judy said. “He has a tremendous background in the pro shop world and is an accomplished bowler in his own right.”
Judy also added with the promotion of Mike Snellbaker to Marketing Manager – Bowling Balls, Adam Ishman will receive an opportunity to take on new responsibilities.
“Adam was a tremendous hire for us in October of 2015,” he said. “With Snellbaker’s promotion, Adam will take on new duties as part of our realigned West Coast territory.”
Branagan currently resides in in the Dallas-Fort Worth area while Ishman resides in Las Vegas.
