Two international bowlers, MoRich champion advance to Daily Final

Reitsma (616) and Nietsch (577) led the 21 players of the 205 and under Division in the second qualifying squad.

Gregg Wobbema sets the pace in Squad 1

Squad 1 - Monday, Feb. 6 at 1pm

Greg Wobbema.jpgGreg Wobbema of Lakewood, CO, shot a 688 three-games high in the first of 26 qualifying squads in the 5th Annual Super Bowl Mini Eliminator in Las Vegas Nev. The player with the highest daily 3-game series from each of the five main divisions will be seeded into the Grand Finale. 1 in 8 players from each division will advance every day to the Daily Finals to bowl for 250-1000 Dollars.

 The 5th Annual Super Bowl Mini Eliminator will roll start today with the first four squads at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm with the daily finals scheduled for 9pm at the Orleans Bowling Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Top guaranteed top five prizes in the Division Champion Shootout are $50,000, $25,000, $12,500, $11,000 and $10,000. Bowlingdigital will cover the whole tournament live through to the finals on Sunday, Feb. 12.

As originator and owner of Pinacle Events he is constantly busy making things better today and trying to improve events tomorrow. I caught up with him via cell phone in Los Angeles with the intentions of talking to him about his ever growing and ever improving Super Bowl Mini Eliminator Tournament at The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas Feb. 6-12, plus the new $100,000 Morich Mixed Doubles National Championship Feb. 3-5 at the same site.

Super Bowl Week - Bowling megabucks promoters have jumped on the bandwagon of football's greatest show

Inasmuch as the Super Bowl Championship consists of only one game, it surpasses all other sports in TV ratings. Commercial costs on this event are astronomical…far exceeding most TV ads.

This year, on the occasion of his fifth Annual Super Bowl Mini Eliminator, Feb. 6-12, 2006, Sanders decided to open the event to thousands of players who were not eligible in the past, including PBA non-exempt players, senior PBA champions and all former PWBA women's champions and members.
