Canada will be one of 18 countries competing at the Pan American Adults Championships

    2012PCLogo.jpg CTFLogo2_small.jpgCanada will be one of 18 countries expected to compete in the Pan American Bowling Confederation (PABCON) Adults Championships which will take place at Sunset Station's Strike Zone Bowling Center in the Las Vegas suburb of Henderson, Nevada, from Aug. 19-25, 2012.

    The following 2012 Team Canada members will compete:
    Men - Mark Buffa, Montreal, QC, Patrick Girard, Jonquiere, QC, Dan MacLelland, Montreal, QC, Jean-SebastienLessard, Quebec City, QC, Michael Schmidt, Winnipeg, MB, and George Lambert IV, formerly Hamilton, ON now living in Texas.
    Women - Caroline Lagrange, Montreal, QC, Isabelle Rioux, Trios Rivieres, QC, Felicia Wong, Calgary, AB, Samantha How, formerly Calgary, AB now Portland, OR, Jennifer Park, Nanaimo, British Columbia, and Jo-Ann Sanesac, Napiervielle, QC.

    Competition will include Singles, Doubles, Trios, Team competition as well as a match play Masters event for the top 16 men and women All Events finishers.

    The championship is also a qualifier for the top eight countries plus the host country United States, who will compete in the 2013 Combined World Championships, which will be held in the same venue.

    Michael Boroskae, Winnipeg, MB and Tyrel Rose, Montreal, QC will coach the team. CTF President Cathy Innes, Surrey, B. C. will serve as Team Manager. Hazel McLeary, CTF Public Relations Coordinator, Victoria, B.C. will attend to report to the media.

    Innes, who is a member of the PABCON board of directors, will also attend a board meeting where Canada's submission to host the next PABCON Youth Championships will be discussed,
