13th Annual Mini-Eliminator is underway in Las Vegas

The first six players advanced to the finals in the 13th Annual Mini-Eliminator at The Orleans Bowling Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, in the first off 22 qualifying squads.
The squad leader in each of the five divisions (35 and under, 36 to 49, 50 and over, 205 average and under, Open) earns one bye, worth $1,000.
Senior Mark Estes of Grapevine, Texas, got out of the gates quickly, shooting a 712 three-game series. The division daily leader gets two byes, worth $1,500. Former Swedish international Ulf Bolleby was the best of just three players in the to 49 Division and secured his spot in the second round of the finals on Sunday afternoon with a 544 score.
All 22 qualifying squads will feature three games of qualifying with 1 in 8 bowlers per division advancing to the finals and earning at least $750.
