David Grooms from Vancover, WA, won the second Dexter Sweeper Wednesday evening at The Orleans Bowling Center in Las Vegas. Like Monday's champion Don Fowler, Grooms was the sole player to reach the 500-plateau in two games with 505 to receive the $3,000 first-place check.
Don Fowler from Overland Park, Kan., rolled games of 248 and 258 to win the first of two Dexter Sweepers Monday evening in the 13th Annual Mini-Eliminator Center in Las Vegas. Fowler was the sole player to crack the 500-bar with 503 to win the $2,300 first prize.
