Current U.S. National Amateur champion Diandra Asbaty, Chicago, Ill., shot a 746 three-game series in the 10am squad on Tuesday to earn one bye worth $1,000 for the finals in the 35 and under Division on Sunday July 9th.
If Asbaty's score will be the highest in her division on the second day of qualifying she will earn two byes worth $1,500. If her score will remain unchallenged for the rest of the tournament (another 18 squads) she will bypass the first three rounds and will be seeded into the 4th round of the finals which will guarantee her a minimum of $2,000.
All 22 qualifying squads will feature three games of qualifying with 1 in 8 bowlers per division advancing to the finals and earning at least $750.
