With three textbook strikes in the 10th frame, Kulick (center) shot 300 in Game 4 and helped lead her teammates Diandra Asbaty (r.) and Wendy Macpherson (l.) to the gold medal with 4037.

Both trios teams topped the previous PABCON trios record of 3770, set in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 1997 by the United States' Becky Kregling, Lucy Giovinco-Sandelin and Lesia Moos.

Kulick's perfect game propelled her to a 1432 individual total for six games, an average of 238.67. Macpherson added 1311, while Asbaty totaled 1294.

"I was really nervous because it's been so long since I've bowled for Team USA and I've never had 300 in international competition before," said Kulick, who is on Team USA this year for the first time since 2001. "It was exciting and more importantly it gave us some momentum when we needed it most."

Dorin-Ballard led her threesome with 1396 for six games, Johnson added 1277 and Barnes totaled 1233. After competing on the first of two squads, Dorin-Ballard, Johnson and Barnes could only watch as numerous teams made a run at their total.

2007WRMPaolaGomez.jpg Mexico's Sandra Gongora, Lilia Robles and Adriana Perez came up short, however, taking the bronze medal with 3837. Colombia's Paola Gomez (pictured left) had the highest individual total of the day with 1475, an average of 245.83, as she teamed with Alejandra Mora and Luz Leal to take fourth with 3,795.

Kulick's big day helped bolt her into the lead in All Events with 4109 for 18 games, an average of 228.28. Dorin-Ballard is second with 4,088, Johnson is third at 4,081, Barnes is fourth with 3,932, Macpherson sits in fifth with 3,931. Canadian Jennifer Park is sixth with 3891 with Gomez seventh 3882 and Asbaty eighth 3874.

Competition continues Thursday morning with the first of two three-game blocks in the five-player team event.
