Rash won two tournaments in the PBA Fall Swing, the PBA Badger Open and the PBA Detroit Open, and also two gold medals at the Pan American Bowling Confederation (PABCON) Adult Championships.
His first win of the month came in the PBA Badger Open, defeating Wes Malott, Pflugerville, Texas, 259-195. The second win of the PBA Fall Swing was the PBA Detroit Open, a 178-161 triumph over Jason Belmonte, Australia. Those are the tenth and eleventh PBA titles of his career.
Very shortly after those two wins was his gold medal winning performance in men’s singles in the PABCON Adult Championships in Cali, Columbia. Rash captured gold by only seven pins over fellow Team USA member silver medalist John Szczerbinski and sixteen pins over bronze medalist Manuel Otalora of Columbia.
The 2011-12 PBA Player of the Year snared his second gold medal as Team USA caught a tough Team Canada in the final game to win the gold medal by 39 pins. Team Columbia took the bronze medal.
Others obtaining votes this month in very close voting were Clara Juliana Guerrero, winner of three gold and two silver medals at the PABCON Adult Championships, New Hui Fen, winner of the Smithfield PWBA Tour Championship, E.J. Tackett, winner of the PBA Bear Open and the PBA King of the Fall Swing, and Ronnie Russell, winner of one gold and three silver medals at the PABCON Adult Championships.
