    2007PanAmericanGamesLogo_small.jpg The XV Pan American Games are an Americas version of the Olympic Games which includes the Olympic Program sports and others that are not part of the Olympics. The Games will run July 13-29 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the bowling competition, consisting of singles and doubles events, is scheduled for July 23-26 at Barra Bowling Center, a 20-lane facility located in the Barra Shopping Mall in Barra de Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.

    16 countries will participate in the Pan Am Games in two divisions - men and women. The Doubles competition will be held on July 23 and 24 and the Singles event on July 25 and 26th.

    Here is a list of the participating countries:

    Women: Bahamas, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, United States and Venezuela.

    Men: Argentina, Bahamas, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador Guatemala, Mexico, Puerto Rico, United States and Venezuela.

    The technical meeting will be on Saturday, July 21st in the afternoon and the official practice will be on Sunday July 22nd.
