2018 EBT Men’s Point Ranking after Norwegian Open 2018 by Brunswick (final)

With the final event of the 2018 European Bowling Tour season – the Norwegian Open 2018 by Brunswick at Lucky Bowl Veitvet in Oslo, Norway – in the books, the top 8 in the European Bowling Tour men’s point ranking remained the same and earned berths into the EBT Masters in 2019.

Anthony Simonsen (featured photo), United States, is the 2018 men’s ranking winner with 594 total points, 57 ahead of Jesper Svensson of Sweden with 537. Thomas Larsen of Denmark was third with distant 439.

Rounding out the top 8 were 4. Pontus Andersson, Sweden (438), 5. Carsten Warming Hansen, Denmark (421) 6. Kyle Troup, United States (375), 7. Rafiq Ismail, Malaysia (370) and 8. Christopher Sloan, Ireland (354).

Gaëtan Mouveroux (left) of France made a run at the top 8 in Oslo, but fell 16 points short to land in 10th place with 338.

The 2018 European Bowling Tour featured 12 tournaments in 10 countries including two “platinum”, two “gold”, three “silver”, two “bronze” and three “satellite” events, which offered total prize fund of roughly 625.000 Euro.

The top 50 men and the top 50 women in each event received ranking points. Those points were tabulated throughout the season to determine the top 8 men and top 8 women, who became eligible to compete in the 12th EBT Masters July 4, 2019 during the VII Brunswick Madrid Challenge at Bowling Chamartín in Madrid, Spain.
